Robert “Bob” Lee Temple, Jr., age 77 of Silver Springs, FL, passed away February 7, 2020 surrounded by his family. He joined the United States Air Force right out of High School and pursued his career right into the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. Then he went on into welding by joining the Union Iron Workers Local 387 out of Atlanta, GA for many years until he retired in 1999. In his spare time, he loved the outdoors; fishing, camping, boating and especially hunting anything that moved AKA “Rodbuster”
He is predeceased by his Mother Ada Fore Temple and Father Robert Lee Temple, Sr. and three siblings, Lyvonne Flowers, Jewell Smith and Evelyn Marsh Brooks.
He is survived by his brother John Alfred Marsh, Jr. of Clearwater, FL, sister Shirley Temple of Silver Springs, FL, son Robert Lee Temple, III of Silver Springs, FL, daughter Ada Lee Temple of St. Petersburg, FL, niece Natalie Green Temple and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church located at 14100 FL Hwy 40, Silver Springs, FL, on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00AM and will be honored as the true veteran he was.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made out to the Temple Family and will be used to offset funeral expenses.
